Dr. William Marrocco is a board-certified physician with a background in surgery, microsurgery, and hand and plastic
surgery. He completed his General Surgery training at the State University of New York at Buffalo,
followed by a fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the prestigious International
Institute of Reconstructive Microsurgery in Norfolk, Virginia. He then pursued advanced training in
Hand Surgery through Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and
finalized his surgical education with a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Temple
University in Philadelphia.
In the later stages of his surgical career, Dr. Marrocco developed a strong interest in age management and
preventative wellness. This led him to pursue specialized training in Hormone Replacement Therapy
(HRT) and Wellness Medicine at the renowned Cenegenics Institute.
With over a decade of experience in HRT, nutrition, and physical fitness, Dr. Marrocco has since
become a trusted leader in the field of integrative health.
After experiencing a detached retina, Dr. Marrocco transitioned away from surgical practice to focus exclusively on
hormone optimization, functional wellness, and personalized medicine. He brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective
to patient care—combining decades of clinical expertise with a passion for promoting balanced
nutrition, hormonal health, and physical fitness.
Dr. Marrocco doesn’t just teach wellness—he lives it. Now in his late 60s, he weight trains 5 to
6 days a week, embodying the lifestyle he advocates for his patients. Since joining Balance
Health Centers in 2018, he has played a key role in guiding patients through tailored treatment plans
aimed at restoring vitality, improving quality of life, and aging with strength and purpose.
